Meet the Baker - Jade Jefferson

Hi! I’m Jade – although my husband calls me JJ!

My love for baking began when I was a little girl, making butterfly buns with my mum in our family kitchen in West Yorkshire. From those first batches, baking became more than just a hobby—it became my happy place, a creative escape, and something that has brought me joy throughout my life.

In 2018, I took the leap and turned my passion into a business, and I haven’t looked back since!

Today, I specialise in beautifully bespoke buttercream celebration cakes for every occasion, alongside small-batch, handcrafted bakes made with love and attention to every detail.

Every cake, brownie, cookie and treat is lovingly created by me in my bakery in the heart of Thirsk, North Yorkshire. I’m incredibly proud of my Yorkshire roots and love showcasing the fantastic ingredients our beautiful region has to offer wherever I can.
